Aikido is a Japanese martial art which has no tournaments or fighting matches. Through non-aggressive exercises and games, children will learn to develop strength, balance and self-confidence.
They will learn to neutralize aggressive situations while being imparted with concepts of discipline and respect.
Children are taught in a fun but structured environment by highly skilled and experienced instructors. The emphasis is on body movement, agility, discipline, and basic Aikido skills and principles.
No joint manipulation techniques will be taught.
Children can start from age 6, and after age 13 will be move into the beginners' program.
